Sacramento homeless advocates regroup amid pandemic

Mercy Pedalers are known for bringing food, water and supplies to people living on Sacramento streets. But amid the coronavirus outbreak, volunteers can’t get up close and personal. Sister Libby, the founder of Mercy Pedalers, said she quickly had to re-group last month after losing 80% of her volunteers because many are 65 years old or older. Now, other organizations and nursing students are stepping in to help safely handout to-go boxes, which include homemade hand sanitizer and face masks. Get the full story in the video above.
