Sacramento Islamic school celebrates Eid by giving back
A Sacramento Islamic school is celebrating Eid Friday by giving back to the community. The M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi School of Islamic Sufism handed out 300 bags to low-income youth organizations as a way to help families amid the novel coronavirus pandemic. Eid Al-Adha is celebrates the end of the holy pilgrimage, or Hajj. Because of the pandemic, Muslims were forced to celebrate the holy day away from big gatherings. The school said taking the day to help the community is another way they can be safe and observe the holiday. Get the full story in the video above.
