Sacramento residents react to Derek Chauvin’s sentencing

Former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin was sentenced to 22 ½ years in prison on Friday for the murder of George Floyd, which prompted protests and demonstrations across the country. The punishment is one of the longest prison terms ever imposed on a U.S. police officer in the killing of a Black person.
