Sacramento's historic rainfall has ended, but flooding and damage remains in Rio Linda

Parts of Northern California are still dealing with the effects of strong rain from a predicted storm over the weekend. In Rio Linda, located in northern Sacramento County, flooding issues lingered Monday. The Sacramento area saw historic rainfall, where more rain fell on Sunday more than any other day in the area's recorded history. Dry Creek was filled with fast-moving water that flooded the Dry Creek Parkway Trail, roads, homes and some structures.
