Saddle up for ND high school rodeo finals in Bowman

May 15—BOWMAN, N.D. — Top cowboys and cowgirls from across the state will compete at the North Dakota High School Rodeo Finals in just a few weeks. Hosted at Bowman County Fairgrounds, the finals are June 7 — 11, 2023. These students have worked hard all year to secure a spot at the finals and it shows. Being witness to the agility these athletes and their animals exhibit is a highlight of the season.

The rodeo weekend is packed with events: five performances, reining cow horse, queen pageant, vendors, entertainment and more. The five performances are as follows: Friday at 10 am and 6 pm, Saturday at 10am and 6 pm, and Sunday at 1 pm. Stay up-to-date on the rodeo by following the NDHSRF

The ND High School Rodeo Finals can be heard on the radio at KPOK 1340, viewed on Consolidated Channel 18 or via livestream on the internet.

High school rodeo contestants who make it to finals compete in two preliminary rounds Friday and Saturday in order to qualify for the finals on Sunday afternoon. The top four competitors at the state level are qualified for the National High School Rodeo Finals in July. There will be concessions for your cravings during performances and vendors to check out as well.
