Sailor Killed at Pearl Harbor Buried in Texas Hometown

A sailor killed at Pearl Harbor whose remains were found earlier this year was finally buried in his hometown of Winnie, Texas, on December 7.

Seaman 2nd Class Charles Saunders, who was 18 years old during the 1941 attack, was among 429 sailors who died on the USS Oklahoma, local media reported.
