So, that's the most important thing for me and training… OK today we're no cameras, no. You would have seen him laughing a lot, enjoyed the sessions so that's good as well and all the rest is for sure nice for all of you to write about but internally no, nothing really."

7. (SOUNDBITE) (English) LIVERPOOL MANAGER, JUERGEN KLOPP, SAYING:

"Look, it's the best position you can be in at the moment but that's it. That's all. We know how tough it is, how tough it was, how tough it is, how tough it will be. So, we didn't even play half of the season but probably usually happens round about this time and so it's nice, nothing else and when two years ago when we didn't win the league after being top of the table at Christmas it was not about a lack of focus or whatever, it was just the quality of the opponents and this quality is still out there and so yes nothing really happened so far; we collect a few points and if you want to do something special this year then we have to collect even more until the end of the season and that's what we try. that's it."

10. (SOUNDBITE) (English) LIVERPOOL MANAGER, JUERGEN KLOPP, SAYING:

"Oh yes, I thought about it because seven is a number you don't see that often in football and you don't want to see it on the one side and it doesn't happen a lot that you see it on the other side. So, no, after the game, the immediate thoughts are now we cancel that out (Liverpool's 7-0 win over Crystal Palace cancels out Liverpool's 7-2 defeat by Aston Villa) which is important but apart from that it was not that we mentioned the Aston Villa game constantly to keep the boys going. This game against Crystal Palace is not a benchmark which we now to try to do all the time as much as the other one is not something we talk constantly about it. So, it happened. It was a good day. We are very clinical, very clinical with our chances. The goals were exceptional and the game was anyway tough and the boys realised it. That was for me the most important thing. The first half yes, we were 3-0 up but it was not a first half of being 3-0 up. It's a first half for maybe 2-2, yes stuff like this. But then how we deal with the situation in the second half was exceptional I have to say and so all good but even a goal difference in the moment is not really important."

STORY: Liverpool manager Juergen Klopp has said that Mohamed Salah is in a "good moment" and is happy at Liverpool, dismissing media speculation the Egyptian wants to leave the club.

Salah told Madrid-based newspaper AS in an interview last weekend that he admired Real Madrid and Barcelona, fuelling talk in the British press that the forward was looking to move on.

"We never speak (about contracts)," Klopp told reporters ahead of the visit of struggling West Bromwich Albion on Sunday (December 27). "Mo is in a good mood and moment, and that is most important.

"You would have seen him laughing a lot (today, in training). The rest is nice for you to write but internally, nothing really (to say)."

Salah was left on the bench for last weekend's 7-0 thrashing of Crystal Palace, but still scored two goals when he came on to help the Premier League leaders maintain their fine form.

Champions Liverpool are unbeaten in 10 league games while conceding just eight goals since losing 7-2 at Aston Villa in October -- winning three of the last four.

They are the first side to spend three straight Christmases leading the English top flight since they also achieved the feat between 1978 and 1980, but Klopp is not getting carried away.
