Sale agreement extended for purchase of North Coast Business Park

Mar. 10—The sale agreement for the North Coast Business Park in Warrenton has again been extended.

At the Clatsop County Board of Commissioners meeting on Wednesday night, commissioners voted to extend the purchase sale agreement for 180 days at no cost due to wetlands mitigation issues.

Atlin Investments Inc., a Seattle-based company, agreed to purchase the 130-acre property for $1.3 million. The property is near U.S. Highway 101 north of S.E. Ensign Lane.

A contingency period of 180 days began when the sale agreement was originally approved in 2022. Atlin had six options to extend the contingency period for 90 days. For each extension, Atlin paid a nonrefundable $10,000, though that will count toward the purchase price once the sale goes through, Monica Steele, the assistant county manager, said.
