Sale and production of alcohol banned in Kherson

The according order was signed by Halyna Luhova, the head of the Kherson City Military Administration.

From this day on, the production, transportation and trade of alcoholic beverages and alcohol-based substances (except medicinal and disinfectants) is prohibited. The ban also applies to beer, wine and low-alcohol drinks sales.

It will remain in effect until martial law is terminated or until the order imposing the restrictions is revoked.

Representatives of the National Police, SBU, National Guard and military law enforcement units will monitor compliance with the ban.

The first Ukrainian troops entered Kherson on Nov. 11, which has been under Russian occupation for more than eight months.

Demining of territories and buildings is ongoing throughout the city.

The Kyivstar and Vodafone mobile phone service providers, as well as the Uklon taxi service, have resumed work there.
