With an exciting football season behind us, it’s time for a little reflection with the 2021 PCAL All-League selections. Salinas area teams dominate the lists. The Gabilan league specifically is covered with Salinas High and Palma players among others

Some of these names may be familiar from previous game previews or wrap-ups, but there are plenty of fresh faces getting the credit they deserve. The offensive and defensive line particularly have many athletes who don’t get enough credit. Game in and game out coaches credit their entire line, but where the individuals stand out.

Every one of these names represents a student-athlete who is working hard to succeed on the field and in the classroom while having fun at the same time.

There is one last group of individuals to recognize, and that is the sportsmanship team. Players who go the extra mile to be considerate athletes and good people. Below are the sportsmanship teams for the Salinas area PCAL.
