Saline County deputies arrest man in Saturday night double homicide

SALINE COUNTY, Ark. – Saline County deputies have made an arrest after a double homicide Saturday night.

According to investigators, deputies responded to a 911 call around 10 p.m. concerning an incident at Jolie Place and discovered the bodies of two people.

LRPD: 1 dead, 1 injured in overnight South Pulaski Street shooting

Investigators said that during the investigation 37-year-old Bryan Reed was developed as a suspect and was later located in Austin where he was taken into custody and then transported to the Saline County Detention Center.

Reed is now facing charges of first-degree murder, first-degree battery and endangering the welfare of a minor. He is currently being held without bond.
