Salisbury vehicle fire being investigated as arson
An early Thursday morning vehicle fire in Salisbury is being investigated as an intentionally set blaze by the Maryland State Fire Marshal.
The car fire broke out at 2:17 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 1, on Barton Avenue in Salisbury. After it was discovered by a neighbor, it took 10 minutes for four Hebron Volunteer Fire Department firefighters to put out the fire on the 2019 Ford Escape, a release from the Fire Marshal's office said.
The Office of the State Fire Marshal also estimates upwards of $20,000 in damages, and the blaze has been ruled an incendiary fire.
