A Salisbury vehicle fire that caused $35,000 in damage is being investigated as arson.

Salisbury Fire Department firefighters responded to the reported vehicle fire at a residence in the 300 block of Gay Street in Salisbury at 1:58 a.m. Tuesday. Firefighters discovered a 2022 Honda Pilot on fire.

The Office of the State Fire Marshal is investigating this fire as an arson, it stated in a release Tuesday.
