  • Salma Hayek, 55, posted a nautical Instagram series where she is showing off her strong bod (and specifically, her abs) in a bikini.

  • The actress is spending her vacay letting loose while exploring the beautiful waters in a sailboat.

  • Her busy schedule doesn’t allow much time for the gym, so Salma practices restorative yoga and walks her dog. She also does short HIIT sessions.

What is it about elevated surfaces that makes them absolutely and undeniably irresistible? Couldn’t tell ya, but I’m glad to see that the stars are just like us, and they can't help themselves from taking the step up either. Salma Hayek Pinault, 55, paraded her super strong core, toned butt, and long legs while dancing on a table in her new Instagram post.

The Frida and House of Gucci actress took to the seas and modeled a purple bikini that showed off allll her toned muscles—core, legs, butt—someone’s mastered the full-body workout! She captioned her vacation post with two hashtags: #dancingontables #sailing. Because what else could you ask for from a vacation?!

When asked about her workout routine, however, Salma’s approach is a little unconventional. “I don’t have time to exercise, I am working,” she told People. “I’ve had some 20-hour days.”

Salma found a loophole in the system, managing to stay in amazing shape while devoting the majority of her time to working. Spoiler: you can do it, too!

Her secret is all about her posture. "I work with a woman in London who taught me how to hold my body in a way where the muscles are activated all day long. So even when you brush your teeth, you're working the muscles," she told People.

It’s called restorative yoga. The practice is an effective way to destress and relax your muscles. Taking the time to focus on the areas of your body with tension and breathing into them helps to relax your body. This method of yoga trains your nervous system to prepare for stressful situations, Kayleigh Pleas, MAPP, a yoga teacher and professional wellness coach in New York City, explained.

However, when Salma does have time to workout, she enjoys cardio workouts and high intensity interval training with added strength training, Marie Claire reports. Even if it’s only a 30-minute or less session, Salma tries to squeeze something in daily to help add definition.

Her exercise doesn’t stop there. Salma is a big dog person and loves the time she spends outdoors walking her furry friends. "This is my version of exercise and these are my #dogs coaches ... These are my trainers!" she captioned an early Instagram post. Seems like their motivation is working!
