Salman Khan Reunites Ex-Couples for Nach Baliye Season 9

After producing The Kapil Sharma Show, Salman Khan has also donned the hat of a producer for another TV show. The dance reality show Nach Baliye will be returning with its ninth season and will be produced by Salman Khan Productions. Sunil Grover, Salman’s Bharat co-star, and Jennifer Winget, have been roped in to host the show. The promo was dropped recently and has had viewers speculating about the possible participants and the judges.

However, this time the show will not have just couples competing for the top prize, but also ex-couples. Salman will bring exes who’ll be reuniting to participate in the show. Sources have told Mumbai Mirror that the idea behind this concept was to add some spice to the show and for the audience to enjoy their chemistry.

For the judges’ panel, talks are that Raveena Tandon has been approached as one of the three judges but nothing has been finalized yet. Earlier it was reported that Tiger Shroff, Disha Patani and Shahid Kapoor had also been approached for the same. Nach Baliye Season 8 premiered in 2017 and had Sonakshi Sinha, Terence Lewis and Mohit Suri as judges. It was won by Vivek Dahiya and Divyanka Tripathi, while Sanam Johar and Abigail Pande took up the first runner-up spot.

Recently, Salman Khan had tweeted saying “something new is coming up”, with a video of him at what appeared to be the Nach Baliye set.

Salman will be next seen in Dabbang 3, for which he is currently shooting with Sonakshi Sinha. In September, he’ll start shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Inshallah, in which he is cast opposite Alia Bhatt. The unusual pairing attracted a lot of attention, but Alia clarified saying that there is reason behind the same.
