Salvador Dali Museum Announces Reopening Date, Special Hours
ST. PETERSBURG, FL — The Salvador Dali Museum has announced its reopening for members and the public, along with the museum's coronavirus health safety precautions for its staff and visitors.
Health care workers will receive free admission from July 1 through 5 as thanks for their essential care during the coronavirus pandemic, said the Dali website.
Hours will be expanded for seniors every Wednesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Doors for the public open on July 1 with late hours on Thursdays and Fridays. Members can enjoy the surreal art earlier on June 24 to 28.
"It has sharpened our awareness of our interdependence and what is most precious to us," the Dali said on its website. "We are hungry to start over, urgent to pick up again the best of what we remember of ourselves and our society. Our culture is at the top of the list because in the arts we explore our values and know that a good life demands we must align our actions to those values."
