Salvation Army kicks off Red Kettle drive

Nov. 12—HIGH POINT — The holiday season has officially arrived, and with it the familiar red kettles that are found at retail outlets throughout the city.

The Salvation Army of High Point partnered with The Salvation Army of Winston-Salem and other Salvation Army locations across the Triad to kick off the 2022 Red Kettle season on Friday at Hanes Mall.

The Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign provides resources to help feed families facing food insecurity, shelter the homeless, offer educational programs for local youth and more.

Volunteers are still needed to man the local kettles and ring bells. For more information on volunteering, visit www.registertoring.com or call 336-881-5400.

The public also can donate online through the Virtual Red Kettle at https://bit.ly/3UvWiOK.
