Salvation Army to offer holiday meal for those in need
LANCASTER – The Salvation Army will offer a free, hot meal that will be served to community members from11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 23, at the River Valley location, 2296 N. Memorial Drive —theformer Golden Corral restaurant location.
The meal will be prepared by Salvation Army board members and volunteers and served by the same. It willconsist of turkey, mashed potatoes, and other traditional Thanksgiving fare.

“Thanksgiving is about blessings,” said Salvation Army Major Bryan DeMichael. “As we count ours, we also arecommitted to blessing others. This is a humble meal, but it is prepared and served by people who simply want tomake the holiday a little brighter for others.”
