Salvation Army offering volunteer, donation opportunities

Nov. 29—The Salvation Army is looking for bell ringers this holiday season.

Those interested in volunteering may sign up by visiting www.registertoring.com. Community members can sign up as a group, individually or register as an organization.

Donations are also being accepted online at https://donate.salvationarmyindiana.org/logansport2022. Donors and businesses are encouraged to share the link via social media and may also set up their own donation goal.

Businesses can also host a kettle stand, sponsor a counter kettle or participate in a kettle match. During a Kettle Match, businesses may pick a day and match the total amount collected by The Salvation Army.

Angel Trees have also been set up at Walmart, 240 Mall Road. Angel Trees are adorned with Angel Tree Tags containing the names of families available to sponsor. To sponsor a family, all that is needed is to select a tag and then purchase a gift. Sponsors are asked not to wrap the gift.

Nonperishable food items may also be donated this Thursday during the Logan's Landing Christmas Open House. Food may be dropped off at The Depot, 421 4th St., and will be dived between The Salvation Army and Emmaus.

Food items may also be donated directly to The Salvation Army office at 620 Wilkinson St.

For more information or volunteer opportunities call The Salvation Army at 574-722-1979 or email at ind.logansport@usc.salvationarmy.org.
