Sam's Club Black Friday 2018 TV Sale Will Have Jumbo-Size Sets

Now that the Sam’s Club one-day pre-Black Friday sale is over, the company has released its Black Friday circular, which includes a number of TV deals.
As in past years, the club's focus seems to be mainly on larger sets, though there aren't quite as many as in 2017. But this year Sam's is making it a bit easier to see how good the deals really are by supplying the model numbers of every set in its ad.
Sam's Club stores will be closed for Thanksgiving. You can shop online starting at 12:01 a.m. ET the morning of Black Friday, Nov. 23, and there will be some web-only TVs deals. Then, Sam's Club stores open their doors at 7 a.m. local time.
Sam’s says that all the Black Friday prices are good through Nov. 25th, or as long as supplies last. If you plan to take advantage of these offers, though, it’s best to shop early, because the chain says some of quantities will be limited for some sets. Almost everything in the ad comes with free shipping if it's available online.
So how good are the Sam's Club offerings? Well, we've been tracking all the best Black Friday TV deals we've seen so far, and we put the Sam's Club TV deals into perspective below. Several TVs on the list can be found in our current TV ratings, which are available to CR members.

Sam's Club Black Friday TV Deals
It’s hard to ignore the allure of a big-screen TV that doesn’t carry a gigantic price. But Sam's also has a few smaller sets for those not looking to super-size their TV viewing experience. Here are all the deals, listed in escalating screen size.
43-Inch LG 4K UHD Smart TV, $269
This set—the LG 43UK6090PUA—comes from a series that is popular among Black Friday TV sales. You can find this set, called the LG 43UK6090, at the Target Black Friday sale for $270. It’s selling for about $500 at a few retailers, including Best Buy, with the price is dropping to about $330 at several other retailers. We’ve seen the 49-inch version of this set at both the Costco and Target Black Friday sales, where it’s priced at about $320 to $330. This is one of Sam's online-only deals.
55-Inch Vizio 4K UHD Smart TV, $449
Another online-only deal, this is the Vizio M55-F0, a step-up model. In our labs, the TV did well for HD picture quality, but not quite as well when displaying 4K content. It normally sells for about $700 at a number of retailers.
65-Inch Vizio 4K UHD Smart TV, $529
This set, the Vizio D65x-G4, is an entry-level 4K model that's currently selling at Best Buy for $700. We didn’t test this set.
70-Inch LG 4K UHD TV, $860 (Comes With a $100 Gift Card)
This model, the LG 70UK6570AUA, is currently selling for about $1,000 at various outlets, before sales start. We also see it for $870 in the BJ’s Black Friday sale, and for $900 in the Costco Black Friday sale, so Sam's has the best warehouse club deal we’ve seen, especially when you add in the $100 gift card.
75-Inch Samsung 4K UHD Smart TV and Xbox One S Bundle, $1,279
This is the Samsung UN75NU710DFXZA, a model we tested that did very well in our ratings, though its HDR performance was only average. It comes bundled with the Xbox One S 1TB game console, plus three months access to the Xbox Live and Game Pass services. We saw this model in Costco’s Black Friday sale, where it’s priced at $1,280, minus a 15 percent mail-in rebate. So, if you use the rebate, the price drops to $1,088. Since the Xbox One S typically sells for about $250, the Sam's Club’s deal is worthwhile if you intend on getting a game system this year.
86-Inch LG 4K UHD Smart TV, $2,499
Available only online, the LG 86UK6570AUA is one of the largest sets we’ve seen so far as part of a Black Friday sale. It’s pretty much the same price at the BJ’s Black Friday sale. Costco will have a slightly different model, the LG 86UK7570PUB, for the same $2,500 price at its sale.
