Samaritan Hospital Foundation scholastic awards for area graduates totals $103,000

ASHLAND − The Samaritan Hospital Foundation offers scholastics to graduates residing in Ashland County, UH Samaritan Medical Center employees and their immediate family members.

To be eligible, applicants must be enrolled or accepted in an accredited program in the areas of nursing, medicine or allied medical studies.

Samaritan Hospital Foundation increased its support for the next generation of nursing and allied medical students by upping total grants to $103,000 in awards supporting 39 students.

  • SHF North Central State College Scholastic Award, Miranda Porter, Marissa Porter, and Summer Pressley

  • SHF Ashland County-West Holmes Career Center Health Technology Award, Kylie Snively

  • SHF Presidential Scholastic Award, Elysia Zehner
