Sammo Hung gets entangled in affair
15 Sep– Renowned martial arts actor Sammo Hung has been entangled in a secret affair rumour, after media reported that the 63-year-old actor was fooling around with 21-year-old actress Wang Qin Yi.
As reported on Hollywood Invasion website, it all started when the actor was reported to have checked into a hotel with the actress for three days in August as Sammo went to China to visit her at the set of her TV drama, "Risking One's Life".
The report stated that Sammo, his assistant and limo driver went to pick Wang up and drove back to a hotel where Wang helped him check into his room. At 8pm, the four were seen having dinner before returning to the hotel, where his assistant and chauffeur left the building.
On 31 August, the actor was seen again accompanying Wang to the film set and returned to the hotel at 8.30pm.
On 1 September, despite his absence at the film set, the two were seen going to a nearby hotel to meet a Chinese producer whereby Sammo introduced him to Wang. Sammo flew back to Hong Kong soon after.
However, when asked about his rumoured infidelity, Sammo's wife of 17 years, Joyce Godenzi shrugged and stated that their relationship was fine and that she trusted Sammo Hung.
No words from the actor himself regarding the controversy as of yet.
