SAN ANGELO — Tickets are still available for the 10th annual San Angelo Cowboy Gathering this weekend.

The western swing music event will be held Friday, Sept. 9 and Saturday, Sept. 10 at the First Financial Pavilion, 50 E. 43rd St.

Tickets are $50 per day or $75 for a two-day pass. Tickets can be purchased at the door or by calling 325-763-9923.

This year's event will be in memory and tribute to Skeebo Norris benefitting the House of Faith.

"Skeebo was our longtime emcee and auctioneer," said Terri Holland, one of the event organizers. "He was an award-winning radio DJ from San Saba, Texas, rodeo announcer and all-around great man."

Norris passed away due to heart complications in October 2021.

"His wife, grown daughters, grandkids and sister will be here with us this weekend," Holland said. "We will present his wife with a special gift on behalf of Skeebo’s dedication to our festival and the music we all love and celebrate."
