San Angelo ISD track athletes move past area meet and advance to regionals.

Multiple San Angelo ISD track and field athletes participated in area track meets this past week for the opportunity to move on as they continue their quest for the state meet in May.

The Central boys track team won third place with 57 points at the district 1-6A/2-6A area meet at Ratliff Stadium in Odessa, however, there were many individual medalists as well. Central’s Alyssa Delgado won the 200-meter dash with a time of 25.94 seconds and Lake View’s Derrick Taylor won the high jump with a jump of 6-feet, 4-inches at the District 5-4A/6-4A meet.
