San Diego County Receives First COVID-19 Vaccine Shipment

San Diego County officials said their first shipment of coronavirus vaccines had arrived Monday morning, December 14, and said they would be given to frontline health care workers.

Footage shared by the county shows boxes in a warehouse.

The San Diego Union-Tribune reported that several hospitals – including Palomar Health, Scripps Health, Paradise Valley Hospital, Alvarado Hospital Medical Center and Sharp Health – were expecting to receive vaccines from that initial batch.
