If not able to do so, the Aztecs will be the sixth and final tournament opponent to lose to UConn by double digits. But if it can make UConn more one-dimensional and minimize the impact of shooters such as Jordan Hawkins, SDSU has the chance to win another close one."

Erick Smith writes: "Defense travels. That's always the axiom for teams that excel in limiting opponents. The theory is that you're never out of a game if you're putting together stops. San Diego State has typified this approach in its success throughout the years and this season on its run to the national title game. So the Aztecs have the potential to keep things close and make this an unappetizing rock fight. But part of that winning formula is also being able to score enough points to win the game. Can San Diego State do that against the Huskies, who are averaging 80 points per game? Maybe for a bit. In the end, though, UConn is an irresistible force."
