USA TODAY Sports: UConn 73, San Diego State 61

Paul Myerberg writes: "San Diego State will try to corral UConn on the perimeter and force the Huskies into a more mid-tempo pace. If not able to do so, the Aztecs will be the sixth and final tournament opponent to lose to UConn by double digits. But if it can make UConn more one-dimensional and minimize the impact of shooters such as Jordan Hawkins, SDSU has the chance to win another close one."

Sportsbook Wire: UConn 66, San Diego State 64

Skip Snow writes: "UConn is reliant on 3-balls, but San Diego State owns the nation’s 3rd-best figure in defending shots from beyond the arc (28.2%, according to NCAA.com). Look for the Aztecs to hold their own with the strong rebounding Huskies and to perhaps have a key edge in turnovers. Peg this one coming down to the final minutes with San Diego State within 5. There is value in the AZTECS +7.5 (-110)."

USA TODAY Sports: Connecticut 70, San Diego State 58

Erick Smith writes: "Defense travels. That's always the axiom for teams that excel in limiting opponents. The theory is that you're never out of a game if you're putting together stops. San Diego State has typified this approach in its success throughout the years and this season on its run to the national title game. So the Aztecs have the potential to keep things close and make this an unappetizing rock fight. But part of that winning formula is also being able to score enough points to win the game. Can San Diego State do that against the Huskies, who are averaging 80 points per game? Maybe for a bit. In the end, though, UConn is an irresistible force."

New York Post: Connecticut 69, San Diego State 58

Zach Braziller writes: "San Diego State has the size, physicality and toughness to at least challenge Connecticut inside. It will impose its will and slow down the pace. Ultimately, it won’t matter. The Huskies can win in a half-court game, too. They have so many ways to beat you. The Aztecs slow down Sanogo, but Hawkins reminds everyone why he’s the best pro prospect at the Final Four, exploding to open up a close game down the stretch en route to Most Outstanding Player honors."

Eddie Timanus writes: "I want an exciting championship game that isn’t decided until the final horn. But I just don’t see it happening. This is not in any way a slight against San Diego State, a program that looks to be on the map to stay thanks to this run to the title game. But this Connecticut squad simply has too many weapons to stop, even for the Aztecs’ well-drilled defense. The Huskies will coast into Nome with the race well in hand."

College Football News: UConn 72, San Diego State 63

It writes: "UConn will be pushed as San Diego State keeps the score low and the game very, very slow. The fearless Aztecs will keep pushing, and then the 14-0 run will come as the UConn men's basketball team wins its fifth national championship."

USA TODAY Sports: Connecticut 74, San Diego State 52

Dan Wolken writes: "This seems pretty simple. UConn has been the best team in the tournament. It has more talent, size and depth than San Diego State. The Huskies are extremely well-coached and hungry. If they lose, it's a massive upset. They won't."

Odds Shark: UConn 72.8, San Diego State 70.2

The site predicts that the Huskies will win the game, but it is taking the Aztecs with the points. It has the point total going over.
