Reports Of Two People Being Injured In A Mission District Sideshow Following Selena Tribute Cruise

BRIAN HACKNEY: --in San Francisco. Good evening, I'm Brian Hackney.

JULIETTE GOODRICH: I'm Juliette Goodrich. This happening near 26th and Mission just an hour ago. Police just reopened the area after reports of at least two people getting hit by cars, this during a side show.

[TIRES SQUEALING]

And so far, police have not confirmed if anyone was actually hit by cars. Video from social media shows drivers doing donuts while attendees lit fireworks. It all stemmed from a large event in the Mission paying tribute to the late legendary singer Selena. Hundreds of people flooded into the Mission to watch lowriders parade down the street. At one point, attendees shot off fireworks right in the middle of the intersection. It all brought traffic to a standstill along Mission Street.
