San Joaquin County residents hope to move into less restrictive COVID-19 tier soon

While some California counties have moved onto less restrictive COVID-19 public health tiers, San Joaquin County has remained in the red tier for about a month now. However, it may be a while before businesses in San Joaquin County can catch a break. Local public health officials said this week they are unable to give an estimate on when the county can advance to the less restrictive orange tier, or the moderate tier.
