Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sané said that the negotiations with the club for a contract extension are on a "very, very good path."

The statement came during a visit to a Bayern fan club on Sunday, the Münchner Merkur/tz newspaper reported.

Sané was asked by a kid about the contract extension. The player initially joked and said that he could move to Höslwangern, where the fan club is located. He then added: "We're on a very, very good path."

Sané joined Bayern from Manchester City in 2020 and has a contract until June 2025.

During the visit, he was also asked about a potential transfer once he stops playing for Bayern, but said: "I thought about ending my career here."
