Jadon Sancho could be the latest Borussia Dortmund player to miss the next Bundesliga match against Heidenheim on Friday, coach Edin Terzic has said.

Terzic said on Wednesday that Sancho, who returned on loan from Manchester United earlier in January, was nursing an adductor problem that made him miss two days of training so far.

"We will take no risks and are still considering whether he will come with us to Heidenheim," Terzic.

Also still missing due to illness are goalkeeper Gregor Kobel, winger Julian Brandt and forward Marco Reus, and although Terzic said they were feeling better it appears unlikely that any of them will be a starter in Heidenheim.

But there was also good news, with Terzic saying that Emre Can, Mats Hummels and Ramy Bensebaini have been training all week and will be available for the next game.

Dortmund have started well into the second part of the season with three victories to climb into fourth place, and they now aim for more.

"We know we have the chance to move into third with a victory. And we are going there with the aim to claim the three points," Terzic said.
