Sandra Bullock's partner Bryan Randall has died at the age of 57.
The photographer had battled amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) also known as Lou Gehrig's disease for three years, a motor neurone condition which causes difficulty with walking, speaking, swallowing and breathing.
Bullock, 59, has called Randall "the love of my life".
The Randall family have said in a statement: "At this time we ask for privacy to grieve and to come to terms with the impossibility of saying goodbye to Bryan."

Here is a timeline of the Oscar-winning actor's eight-year relationship.
January 2015
Bullock hired Randall as the official photographer at her son Louis's fourth birthday party. They began dating a few months later.
The Bird Box star revealed she had already begun proceedings to adopt her daughter Laila, now nine, and made reference to hiring Randall as a photographer when she revealed how she told him she was having another child during the early stages of their relationship.
She said: "I go, 'Remember that NDA you signed when you photographed my son?'
"He was like, 'Yeah.' He was still scared; his whole life had been unraveled because of me. And I said, 'You know that still holds,' and he was like, 'Yeah, okay. Why?' And I was like, 'Because I'm bringing a child home when I come back from Toronto.'"
August 2015
Bullock and Randall appeared to confirm they were dating when he was her guest at Jennifer Aniston's wedding to Justin Theroux at their home in Bel Air.
Randall was a professional photographer and had an older daughter from a previous relationship. Bullock described them as sharing "three beautiful children".
She revealed he had strong Christian beliefs that she felt made him a good example as a parent.
Bullock told Red Table Talk in 2021: "I have a partner who's very Christian and there are two different ways of looking at things. I don't always agree with him; he doesn't always agree with me. But he is an example, even when I don't agree with him, that I [think] if they can take away from that, if that is where they feel drawn to, then he's the exact right parent to be in this position."
October 2015
Bullock and Randall went 'official' several months after they began dating when he was her plus one to the premiere of her movie Our Brand Is Crisis in Los Angeles.
They walked the red carpet hand in hand but Bullock did not comment on their relationship.
During promo for the movie Bullock said, "I can see myself in a committed, safe relationship where there is lots of love and laughter."

July 2016
When rumours began circulating that Bullock and Randall were engaged, the Gravity star was quick to issue a statement denying there were any wedding plans.
Her representative said at the time: "Sandra Bullock is not engaged and there is no wedding. There's no truth at all in those rumours."
The Speed star had a very difficult divorce from motorcycle builder Jesse James in 2010 when he admitted multiple infidelities during their five years of marriage.
Bullock said she did not feel marriage was necessary to seal her relationship with Randall.

March 2018
Bullocks issued a statement to deny reports she and Randall had got married.
Speaking about their relationship in 2021 she said: "I am someone who went through the divorce process. I found the love of my life. It's the best thing ever. So, I don't want to say do it like I do it, but I don't need a paper to be a devoted partner or a devoted mother."

September 2018
When The Blind Side star's father died at the age of 93, Randall posted a tribute to the late military veteran on social media.
He wrote: "As a father, grandfather and WWII veteran, we #thankyouforyourservice. PS: Hey God, we're sending you a live one."

April 2020
Bullock and Randall donated 6,000 KN95 face masks to healthcare workers in Los Angeles in a bid to help out during the coronavirus pandemic.
Randall revealed on Instagram: "Kids wanted to give masks. 6000 of them went to the warriors on the front lines in downtown LA. Thank you Olivia at #adventisthealthwhitememorial. Thank you Ricardo at #childrenshospitallosangeles … Louis and Lailas note could not have said it better."

November 2021
Bullock opened up about her relationship with the "love of my life" Randall in a frank and open interview with Jada Pinkett Smith, Willow Smith and Adrienne Banfield-Jones on Red Table Talk.
Speaking about the photographer she said: "He's a saint. He is evolved on a level that is not human."
March 2022
Bullock announced while she was promoting her film The Lost City that she would be taking a career break to spend more time with her family.
She told Entertainment Tonight: "Right now, and I don't know how long that will be, I need to be in the place that makes me happiest. I take my job very seriously when I'm at work. It's 24/7 and I just want to be 24/7 with my babies and my family."

Randall's family announced in statement that he had "passed away peacefully after a three-year battle with ALS."
It was revealed: "Bryan chose early to keep his journey with ALS private and those of us who cared for him did our best to honour his request.
