After a little under two years on the market, Sandra Bullock’s picturesque Tybee Island home has officially found a buyer. The property, which comprises a 3,360-square-foot main house and an adjacent 2,848-square-foot guest house, sold for $4.175 million. Situated on nearly three acres at the northern end of the exclusive beach town, Bullock’s Georgia home has all the trappings of a perfect vacation getaway. In fact, when it was put on the rental market in 2018, the listing identified the home as a prime spot to watch for dolphins.

The main house boasts seven bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms spread out over two stories, with the main floor dedicated to entertaining. The living room features a double-height ceiling with a stately brick fireplace flanked by reading nooks, while the charming kitchen has counter seating. The main suite is unusually located on the ground floor, and has its own sitting room and a freestanding claw-foot tub in the en suite bathroom. A den, screened-in porch, and a few of the guest bedrooms are located upstairs.

The guest house had an additional three bedrooms, a full kitchen with dining space, and a living room with a modern fireplace. A game room, grill, and crow’s nest are perfect for enjoying the ocean views.

The grounds between the two buildings also feature a basketball court, a large pool and spa, an outdoor shower, and private beach access. Bullock has seemingly been looking to lighten her real estate portfolio in recent years—but she still retains considerable holdings. In late 2018, she sold a $2.925 million ranch located near the historic Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, but she still maintains a mansion in Beverly Hills; two condos near the Sunset Strip; an apartment in New York City; a ski home in Jackson Hole, Wyoming; and houses in Austin and New Orleans.
