Sandra Bullock's Longtime Partner Dead: A Look Back at Their Romance

Sandra Bullock has suffered a heartbreaking loss. The Oscar-winning actress's longtime partner Bryan Randall died on Aug. 5 at the age of 57, after a private three-year battle with ALS.

"We are immensely grateful to the tireless doctors who navigated the landscape of this illness with us and to the astounding nurses who became our roommates, often sacrificing their own families to be with ours," his family said in a statement.

"At this time we ask for privacy to grieve and to come to terms with the impossibility of saying goodbye to Bryan."

Two more women came forward with their own allegations of James’ infidelity during his marriage to Bullock, leading the A-list actress to file for divorce. The couple were in the midst of secretly adopting son Louis when the drama unfolded, making their divorce all the more complicated. Bullock wound up completing the adoption alone and adopted a second child, a daughter named Laila, as a single parent in 2015.
