A new spot to score sandwiches, salads and soups has made its debut in the neighborhood. Located at 201 N. East St. in Central Arlington, the fresh addition is called The Hive.
The Hive specializes in sandwiches (served with homemade chips) made on croissants and sourdough breads that are made fresh in-house, such as chicken salad on a croissant or an Italian sandwich served on sourdough. The soup du jour changes daily, but there's always a house tomato soup on the menu.
With a five-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp so far, the new addition has already made a good impression.
Brooklyn R., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Dec. 17, wrote, "I can't put into words how much I love this place. I have never ever had a bad thing here. The menu is small but exciting with local and fresh flavors."
Yelper Laura H. added, “Love their hatch pimento cheese sandwich and chips, or the fruit and nut salad for a lighter option. Their soups are really great too.”
Interested? Stop by to welcome the new business to the neighborhood. The Hive is open from 11 a.m.–2 p.m. on weekdays. (It's closed on weekends.)
