Sanford Acute Spine Center opens in Bemidji

Jun. 24—BEMIDJI — The Sanford Acute Spine Center recently opened on the second floor of the Sanford Bemidji Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Center, located at 1300 Anne St. NW.

The new spine center offers a comprehensive evaluation and medical management for those experiencing back or neck pain, a release said.

"Patients of the center will receive care from a team of specialists in chiropractic care, physical therapy and orthopedic medicine," the release said. "These experts are specially trained to address spine pain in all phases of recovery using early, non-opioid and conservative treatments."

Many of these specialists have also recently completed additional training within the Primary Spine Practitioner program through the University of Pittsburgh.

"I am greatly looking forward to partnering with David Galloway, DC, in chiropractic care, as well as Jarad Syrstad, PT, DPT, CSCS; Michael Lohse, PT; and Kent Johnson, PT, DPT, in physical therapy to provide the most comprehensive level of care possible to those seeking relief for back and neck pain in our community," Kelly Pruett, an orthopedics nurse practitioner at the center, said in the release.
