Sanford and Avera release top baby names for 2022. Can you guess the most popular ones?

Sanford Health and Avera McKennan have released the most popular baby names for 2022, and there's some new names on the list as well as some returning favorites.

Last year, Sanford Health reported Amelia was the top name for girls, and Oliver was the top choice for boys.

This year, at Sanford Health, not much changed on the boys side as Oliver retained the top spot. Olivia, which is the top name for girls at Sanford Health, moved up four spots from last year's list. Amelia, the top choice last year for the healthcare system, fell to the fourth spot.

At Avera McKennan, Oliver was also a top choice for new parents, coming in at the second spot while Luca topped the boys list. Oakley claimed the top girls spot. Last year, Avera reported Lillian as the most popular name for girls and Lucas for boys.
