Sanford Health metro clinics will reopen Wednesday after winter storm

Update: At 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sanford Health announced clinics will reopen at 10 a.m., Wednesday. That will include clinics in Brandon, Harrisburg, Hartford and Lennox, along with adult and pediatric outpatient rehabilitation appointments. Scheduled wound care appointments, dialysis appointments, procedures, surgeries and diagnostic testing will go on as schedule, unless arranged by the patient's provider.

Earlier story: Following a winter storm system that has dumped nearly 12 inches of snow in Sioux Falls so far, Sanford Health announced the healthcare system will be closing all metro clinics.

The closures start at 1 p.m. Tuesday, including clinics in Harrisburg, Hartford, Lennox and Brandon along with Sioux Falls. Some locations in Minnesota and Iowa have also announced closures due to the inclement weather. A complete list of Sanford Health locations closing on Tuesday can be found here.

Sanford 26th and Sycamore Acute Care Clinic will remain open until 9 p.m. Tuesday. The emergency department will remain open, according to a Sanford Health representative.
