Santa Clara County Reports 100 New Coronavirus Cases, 1 Death

SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA — The Santa Clara County Public Health Department reported 100 additional coronavirus cases Tuesday.

The latest report brings the countywide case count to 22,741.

The county reported one additional coronavirus-related fatality Tuesday, bringing its COVID-19 death toll to 363.

There were 80 COVID-19 patients hospitalized in Santa Clara County as of Tuesday, of which 20 were being treated in intensive care units.

There have been 859,997 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 16,593 coronavirus-related deaths in California as of Tuesday afternoon according to data from Johns Hopkins University.

The United States had 7,847,714 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 214,034 coronavirus-related fatalities as of Tuesday afternoon.

There have been 37,999,713 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 1,083,597 deaths reported globally as of Tuesday afternoon.
