Santa Claus visits kids at Aerospace Museum of California

Santa Claus made a stop at the Aerospace Museum of California in McClellan Park on Friday where he greeted guests with candy canes and read a story to the kids. The museum says that typically, events wouldn't be outside this late in the year, but staff members say they are happy to utilize their four acres of property. Organizers told KCRA 3 it’s also a good way to get out of the house and do something fun. “We'll have events typically like this every weekend in December outdoors with holiday themes. we'll have Anna and Elsa out here in a couple of weeks with Frozen theme,” said Cheryl Holkan, Museum Experience Director. “Just bring the kids out, get them off their computers. We know it's been a struggle for a lot of parents. They'll come out and have a lot of fun. And if weather stays like this we're in good shape,” she said. The museum is welcoming visitors Friday through Sundays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
