Santa Coming to Westfield South Shore Mall

BAY SHORE, NY — The holiday season is kicking off at Westfield South Shore mall in Bay Shore, with some changes due to the coronavirus pandemic.

This year, the mall will still be offering visits with Santa, community events and more during the holiday season.

According to a Westfield spokesperson, the mall will be increasing the amount of cleanings of common areas as well as monitoring and enforcing capacity; social distancing; and the wearing of face coverings.

For those who still want to do some holiday shopping, many stores will be offering Curbside Pickup. The Black Friday shopping hours will continue until 10 p.m.

Also on Black Friday, Santa will be visiting the mall to take photos with guests. Through the Cherry Hill Programs, a renowned holiday photo experience provider, Santa and all his visitors will be kept safe during photos with social distancing requirements.
