Benson's exhibit — "Realism versus Abstract: What is Your Passion?" — opened June 4 and includes 23 vibrant paintings of landscapes, abstract visuals and other subjects.

A self-taught British artist, Benson now resides on the Central Coast and has held solo shows at wineries up and down the coast. She is a four-time recipient of the Best of the Best Award at the annual Grapes and Grains event in Santa Maria, according to her website.
