Santa At The Rockaway Mall: Social Distancing, Masks

ROCKAWAY, NJ — Santa Claus is returning to Rockaway Mall this year, but those looking to visit him will have adhere to COVID-19 guidelines.

As part of the Simon Santa Photo Experience, Santa and his helpers will be wearing masks and keep a distance of 6 feet away unless a barrier is put up.

Santa Claus will be required to complete a temperature check, prior to starting his scheduled shift. And in between shifts Santa's suit is regularly sprayed with disinfectant, a Lysol spray or similar product, according to Cherry Hill Programs, which is organizing the visit.

Guests can begin making reservations to see Santa beginning on Nov. 20 until Christmas Eve, Dec. 24.

Those who want to make a reservation can do so through the website.

The socially-distanced Santa visit rules will apply at all Simon malls bringing the Simon Santa Photo Experience including at Livingston Mall, Menlo Park Mall, Newport Centre, Ocean County Mall, Quaker Bridge Mall, The Mills at Jersey Gardens, and The Shops at Riverside.
