Be a Santa's helper: Here's where you can drop off toys across Alabama this year

Want to be a special Santa's helper this year? There are several opportunities ahead across Alabama to share new toys with children in need this holiday season.

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office Foundation toy drive

  • When: Saturday, Dec. 2, 8 a.m.-noon

  • Where: Chantilly Walmart, 10710 Chantilly Parkway, Montgomery

  • Info: Drop off new, unwrapped toys so that no child has to miss Christmas this year. Toys for all age groups are needed and no toy is too big or too small.

  • Other ways to help: You can also drop off donations at the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, 100 S. Lawrence Street any time before Dec. 7. Call 334-832-2515 and they will come by and pick up donations.
