Sapiens: 4Q Earnings Snapshot

HOLON, Israel (AP) _ Sapiens International Corp. (SPNS) on Monday reported fourth-quarter earnings of $6.8 million.

On a per-share basis, the Holon, Israel-based company said it had profit of 13 cents. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 21 cents per share.

The results met Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was also for earnings of 21 cents per share.

The provider of software and services to the insurance industry posted revenue of $86.7 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported profit of $26.2 million, or 52 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $325.7 million.

Sapiens expects full-year revenue in the range of $377 million to $383 million.

Sapiens shares have increased 11% since the beginning of the year.
