New York City is back. Not only are bars and restaurants open, but Sex and the City is once again filming, as revealed by the series’ lead, Sarah Jessica Parker.

Parker, who starred as Carrie Bradshaw on the HBO show, the two subsequent movies, and now the revival, posted a picture of a very recognizable front door on Instagram on Thursday, June 10. It’s from a building in the West Village that was used for the exterior shots of Carrie’s apartment, including so many breakups and makeups on the stoop and stairs. (Though, canonically, the character lives on the Upper East Side.) But Parker revealed that it wasn’t a shooting location—she just happened to be in the neighborhood!

“Pure coincidence AND JUST LIKE THAT, we find ourselves on this street called Perry,” Parker wrote in the caption, referencing the title for the revival. She continued that it was “the night before it all begins again,” so yep, filming has officially begun.

In the pictures, Parker is accompanied by someone seen from behind and in shadow, but we're pretty sure it's executive producer Michael Patrick King, because she wrote, “MPK, here we go.
And I’m thrilled and terrified. X, SJ.”

Some of Sarah Jessica Parker’s costars chimed in to agree. “Hahaha- ME Too xoxo❤️,” Kristin David, who plays Charlotte, wrote in the comments. “Let’s go!!!!” wrote Willie Garson, who plays Stanford.

We also recently learned that many of the key men from the show are set to return for the revival. Chris Noth will reprise his role as Carrie’s husband, Mr. Big; Steve Brady (David Eigenberg) and Harry Goldenblatt (Evan Handler) will return as well, and so will Garson and Mario Cantone as Anthony Marentino.

But will they get cupcakes at Magnolia? Or can we finally admit that the best item there is the banana pudding?
