Sarah Michelle Gellar joins Charmed star's project for special episode

Sarah Michelle Gellar and Shannen Doherty have teamed up for an episode of podcast Let's Be Clear.

The Buffy star appeared on Doherty's show for a special episode titled 'Let's Slay with Sarah Michelle Gellar' streaming on all podcast platforms from February 5.

The one-hour long chat saw Gellar and Doherty look back on the beginnings of their careers, focusing on how they crossed paths working for Buffy and Charmed respectively, as both shows aired on The WB Television Network. The two friends also got candid about their family lives and relationships to social media.

"It's a blast from The WB past!" reads the synopsis for the episode. "Shannen and Sarah discuss their days as kick-ass leading ladies on primetime television.

"How did Sarah make Shannen feel when she joined the network? Why does Sarah credit Shannen for getting her family through Covid? What really kept Sarah away from the business for so long, and what keeps these two together after all these years?"

Meanwhile, Gellar's new series Wolf Pack has been cancelled at Paramount Network after delays caused by last year's Hollywood strikes would have made the show more expensive to market.

Created by Teen Wolf boss Jeff Davis, the supernatural drama followed a group of Californian teens who dealt with big changes in their lives when a wildfire in their area caused a werewolf to attack.

Alongside Gellar in the role of arson investigator Kristin Ramsey, cast for the series included Armani Jackson, Bella Shepard, Tyler Lawrence Gray, Chloe Rose Robertson, Chase Liefeld and Bailey Stender.

Let's Be Clear with Shannen Doherty is available to listen on several platforms, including Spotify and Apple Podcasts.

All episodes of Wolf Pack season one are available to stream now on Paramount+.
