Satellite Footage Captures Smoke Filling Californian Air as Wildfires Burn

Satellite imagery posted on July 22 by Colorado State University’s Cooperative Institute for Research in the Atmosphere shows smoke billowing from large wildfires in California.

The footage, which was recorded on July 21, captures plumes of smoke rising from both the Dixie Fire and Tamarack Fire.
