Satellite Footage Shows Smoke Rising From 500-Acre Cedar Creek Wildfire

Satellite footage from the National Weather Service shows a plume of smoke rising eastward from the 500-acre Cedar Creek wildfire burning near Waldo Lake in Oregon on Wednesday, August 3.

The US Forest Service for Willamette National Forest said the wildfire was “very active” and moving north on Wednesday.
