Satellite Imagery Shows Damage to Power Station in Kyiv Following Strikes

Satellite imagery shows damage to a power station and other buildings in Kyiv following a barrage of Russian missiles that killed at least 19 people across Ukraine on Monday, October 10.

Maxar Technologies released images on October 12 showing damage at or near two power stations following Monday’s attacks, they said.

In southeastern Kyiv, damage can be seen at the transformer station at the Tets-5 power facility, while several buildings, including the 101 Tower, across the street from the Tets-3 power station have been damaged.

Kyiv’s mayor Vitali Klitschko said residential buildings, critical infrastructure, educational institutions and health care institutions had been damaged in Monday’s attacks. Credit: Maxar Technologies via Storyful
