'Saturday Night Live' writer Colin Jost to headline Indianapolis cancer support fundraiser

"Saturday Night Live" cast member and co-head writer Colin Jost will headline Cancer Support Community Indiana's 22nd annual Laughing Matters fundraiser on June 4 at Clowes Memorial Hall.

Money raised during the event funds free support services for Hoosiers impacted by cancer. Tickets went on sale March 11 and include a reception with complimentary cocktails, dinner and a silent auction.

Jost, also an established stand-up comedian, joins a long line of comedy heavy hitters to headline the local fundraiser. Recent performers have included Nick Offerman, Martin Short and Seth Meyers, whom Jost replaced as co-anchor of SNL's "Weekend Update."
